Corey Beach

Went to Corey Beach in Blue Point this afternoon. Love that beach! They recently put in a brand new playground. One side is for older kids and the other side for younger ones. It was nice to sit on the beach and smell the salt air and watch the kids play and make sandcastles. Since I live in the Town of Islip - come Memorial Day we no longer are able to go to Corey Beach because it is a Town of Brookhaven beach. It is our Spring and Fall Beach! =)

  1. Sucks that you can't use the beach because of the town thing......I guess you need a sticker proving you live in Brookhaven? My license still has me in Brookhaven - I like that beach too!

  2. Actually, I believe you can come down to Corey Beach, even if you're not in Brookhaven. If you're a non resident you have to pay for parking. I own the gym, Fitness By the Bay, right at the beach! Parking is difficult though if you don't want to pay, but there are TONS of folks down here from all over. It's a great beach, isnt it? I do boot camps on Sundays at 7:30am. Come down and check it out

  3. Thanks Mark - a few other people told me there are a few spot right in front that do not require you to be a resident. We will have to get up early in the morning to get those. =)
